Local Heroes
Children and young people in the North East recently took part in a creative writing competition based on the theme ‘Local Heroes’. We asked entrants to write a piece of creative writing about a local person that helps or inspires them.
Authors Sam Copeland gave entrants advice and encouragement in a special video.
