The England Women’s football team have been taking part in the Women’s Euros this summer. To capitalise on the excitement around the tournament, we have teamed up with The FA to create a toolkit for teachers based around the Lionesses at the Women’s Euros.
The free Literacy with the Lionesses toolkit is packed with fun football-themed activities for boys and girls in Years 5 to 8, including writing tips from top football authors and reading engagement ideas for the whole school.
The toolkit is complemented by supporting resources and worksheets for you to download.
Dutch Diaries live story
Dutch Diaries is an episodic story by top children's author Tom Palmer, which followed the Lionesses at the Women’s Euros. The story was released a chapter at a time during the summer term.
Dutch Diaries is designed to be read aloud to a whole class or in an assembly, and used in conjunction with the Literacy with the Lionesses toolkit.
