Christmas joy

Literacy Toolkits

Give a Literacy Toolkit to a local primary school and help children fall in love with reading this Christmas.

Each Literacy Toolkit is filled with:

  • 50 fantastic books
  • Fun activities for the classroom and at home
  • 12 months membership to the National Literacy Trust, with unlimited access to online resources and support

Encourage your colleagues to come together and raise funds for one, two or even 10 toolkits.

Support us at your Christmas party

Donate a percentage of ticket sales, hold a festive raffle or ask your guests to pay a small cloakroom fee and donate the takings to the National Literacy Trust. We can provide collection tins, information about our work and t-shirts for colleagues.

Festive fancy dress

Don your Christmas jumper, Santa hat or favourite children's book character outfit in the office this festive period and make a donation to the National Literacy Trust to do so.

Hold a Quiz-mas night

Host a Christmas quiz in support of the National Literacy Trust.

Alternative Secret Santa

Instead of struggling to find the right Secret Santa gift for a colleague, why not make a donation to the National Literacy Trust in your colleague’s name?

Send charitable Christmas eCards

We’ve created a wonderful Christmas eCard for you to send to your colleagues, clients and customers. Just donate what you would have spent on postage to the National Literacy Trust. Not only will you be spreading some Christmas joy but you will be helping us give disadvantaged children the gift of reading this Christmas.
