Reconstructing Reading is an online conference bringing together international literacy leaders to translate the latest and most robust reading research into teaching strategies that support young, developing readers in an evolving reading landscape. Taking place from 16 to 26 November, our 2026 edition focuses on key elements of reading instruction and engagement.
Our international line up will unpick the latest research to uncover strategies in word reading and decoding, barriers to reading development, motivation and engagement, early reading, comprehension and developing comprehension.
With a focus on how children and young people learn to read, from first steps in decoding to fluent comprehension, there will be insights applicable to your whole education provision.
