What is the Kindred schools scheme?

The Kindred Schools scheme has been developed to help your primary INSET budget go further.

Designed for primary schools, academies and multi-academy trusts, the scheme makes high-quality literacy CPD more affordable by enabling schools to share the cost of expert-led INSET training. Whatever your literacy priority, Kindred Schools supports collaborative professional development tailored to your context. By connecting you with local or likeminded schools, the scheme helps you access evidence-based primary training while building valuable partnerships that support long-term impact.

It is a flexible, cost-effective way to deliver meaningful CPD for your school team.

How does it work?

  1. Register your school via the form below and select an INSET package (choose from our core range of primary CPD here).
  2. We’ll match you with local or likeminded settings who can share the cost.
  3. We’ll deliver your INSET at a date that works for everyone – in person or online.

Are you an academy/MAT?

The Kindred Schools scheme can be used for multiple settings across your trust – perfect for full implementation at reduced cost.

Do you have existing partnerships with schools?

If you have an existing partnership, each setting can sign up and be matched together.
