Can’t make it to London to join the Where’s Wally? Fun Run in person?
Don’t worry, you can do your own event in your local community. Bring your school, sports team or friends together for your very own Where’s Wally? Fun Run.
Where’s Wally? at school
We want you to get involved in Where’s Wally? at your school. Dress up in stripes, wear a bobble hat, or just put on the Wally colours and let the fun begin. We’ll send a pack of resources including some literacy activities and tips for organising your own event. Pick a day for your Fun Run in the week beginning 20 March, dress up and help us raise much needed funds by donating 50p per runner to enter the race. You could ask for sponsorship from friends and family too!
Organise a Where’s Wally? event at your school and receive:
- Resource pack of activities and fundraising support
- Video call to your school assembly from our Where’s Wally? team
- Stickers for everyone who crosses the finish line
- Fundraising support from our friendly team
- Chance to win extra goodies
Do your own Where’s Wally? run
Whether you are a seasoned runner wanting to take on a new challenge or fancy a fun walk with friends, we would love for you to take part.
Pick a day for your Fun Run in the week beginning 20 March, dress up and help us raise much needed funds. You can choose whether you run or walk (or a bit of both) and take on the challenge your own way.
Places are £65 which includes your donation to the National Literacy Trust, and your very own Where’s Wally? costume to run in!
Once you sign up, our team will post your costume to you in plenty of time for your run, walk or jog. If you have any questions about the arrival of your costume, please get in touch with our team by emailing fundraise@literacytrust.org.uk.
