Get together with your friends, family or colleagues and be a wally for the day in aid of the National Literacy Trust! We're inviting you to take on our charity fun run wherever you are in the UK and raise money to support our work. Our 'do it your own way' fundraising fun run is flexible and will suit any age and ability.
Order a costume from us or don your best stripes, round glasses and bobble hat and walk, jog or run around your local park or high street. We promise even the most reluctant of runners will have fun when you're dressed as Where's Wally?!

Tips on how to get started
- Tag onto an existing activity: Do you already take part in your local Parkrun with family or friends? Why not choose one week where you all come dressed as Where’s Wally!
- Keep it simple: Make it into a fun day for the children! Help your children to make their own costumes with objects around the house (pipe cleaners can make a great pair of wally glasses) and go on a big walk together all dressed as Where’s Wally! It’s a lovely way to spend a Saturday and doesn’t have to cost a penny!
- Make it your own: You don’t just have to run or walk, you could add additional elements to your Where’s Wally? activity to personalise it to you! Why not try make it into a scavenger hunt in your garden by challenging your children to find objects related to Wally?

Why your support matters
Thank you so much for choosing to support the National Literacy Trust - every penny you raise through our Where’s Wally? Fun Run will support the literacy and learning of children across the UK, giving them a route out of poverty and changing their life story.
£10 could enable three families from disadvantaged communities to attend motivational reading events, inspiring them to read for pleasure and giving them the tools to support their children’s literacy skills at home.
£20 could give a child access to inspiring activity booklets and school programmes that will help them develop the literacy skills they need to thrive at school.
£50 could help to train a volunteer to give parents with low literacy levels the confidence and skills to help develop their child’s literacy and communication skills.
£60 could recruit a mentor to work with teenagers from disadvantaged communities, developing communication skills for their futures.
