Working with Premier League Primary Stars, we run a host of live events, often including free supporting resources - plus a fantastic Footy & Booky Quiz to get children excited about literacy. Super Subs: Building your vocabulary dream team
To mark the Summer of Sport, the National Literacy Trust and Premier League Primary Stars invite you to take part in this free virtual 45-minute event all about building vocabulary.
This is a Go All In Together moment to mark the National Year of Reading 2026, hosted by a very special ambassador alongside a wonderful wordsmith, this is no ordinary kick-about. Expect shoutouts, surprises, prize-wheel spins and a whole lot of wordplay, with classrooms, halls and libraries from all four nations tuning in together.
The 2026 World Book Day Premier League Takeover quiz
We're back, and it's bigger and better than ever.
The 45-minute quiz features two rounds, with a mix of football and reading-themed questions, pitched by your footballing heroes and our writer pals.
This is a Go All In Together moment to mark the National Year of Reading 2026, hosted by broadcaster Kenzie Benali, who's joined by Football School authors Alex Bellos and Ben Lyttleton.
