Family storytelling and crafts with Lucy Farfort

Lucy Farfort banner

When the world is plagued with isolation and cursed to live without colour, it’s up to a group of determined children to grow a seed of hope that will inspire everyone to come together and build a better future...

About the event

Join author and illustrator Lucy Farfort at Little Theatre Gateshead for a family-focused session featuring her book In Our Hands. Listen-along with Lucy and help her ‘undull’ the street with your very own colourful home (imagined or real). All materials will be provided.

This event is perfect for 4 to 8-year-olds and their grown-ups, older children are welcome to join – we will have a break-out room with books and activities available.

This event is organised by the National Literacy Trust’s Read North East Hub, in partnership with Northern Children’s Book Festival. Funded by Arts Council England, with thanks to Little Theatre Gateshead.
