Our second rooftop football tournament in London on Friday 23 June was a great success, with teams from Jack Wills, KPMG, Lloyds FC, Profile Print, Metro Bank, Miller Insurance, the Premier League and more competing against each other on a rooftop pitch in Docklands, London.
It was a closely fought competition, with the teams from Lloyds and the Premier League beating all the other teams to reach the final. In the end, Lloyds took home the coveted National Literacy Trust Cup, beating the Premier League 5-1.
The teams from KPMG, Profile Print and Lloyds also took part in the tournament's sponsorship challenge, raising money for our work. Lloyds raised the most money and won eight tickets to see England play at Wembley, kindly donated by The FA.
Overall, the tournament raised over £5,000 for our work - a great success! A huge thank you to all the teams who took part and made it such a great event.
