The National Literacy Trust Hub in Hastings partners with Hastings Library and Hastings Museum and Art Gallery to invite author Wendy Shearer to delight and inspire families in the town.
Wendy - author of Bedtime Stories: Beautiful Black Tales from the Past (Scholastic) and professional storyteller - led two storytelling sessions today which were free for families to attend and enjoy.
Wendy shared stories from her book: a beautiful celebratory collection of bedtime stories showcasing tales from Black history, based on important figures and events from around the world. Families also received a free signed copy of the book to take home!
