Remembrance Live Assembly 2024

11 Nov 2024

10:20am - 11:05am

Online

Teachers of pupils from Upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 can sign up to our free, live-streamed Remembrance Assembly, bringing your students together with others from across the UK on 11 November between 10.20am and 11.05am.

About the Remembrance Live Assembly

Join the Royal British Legion and the National Literacy Trust in a live interactive assembly, inspiring children in Upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 to explore and take part in Remembrance. This event will bring together art, music, poetry, veteran interviews and more to create a unique, interactive, live-streamed experience helping students understand why we continue to remember. As part of the event schools will be encouraged to share their students' work. We hope to be able to showcase some of these pieces live. Resources to support this can be found on our Remembrance resource page, and we would encourage schools to use these. This event is part of our series of support for schools during Remembrance.

The event will take place as a live Zoom webinar on Monday 11 November 2024 at 10.20am. It will finish at 11.05am following a two-minute silence to mark the Armistice.

Suitable for ages 9 to 13 (pupils from years 5, 6, 7 and 8).
