Week four: Conisbrough Castle

Doncaster stories conisbrough YEAH greener grass2 (1).jpg

To celebrate the start of National Share a Story month, we're offering prizes for this weeks writing challenge! Take part to be in with a chance of winning a bundle of children's books.

Conisbrough Castle is one of Doncaster's most famous landmarks. Phil has illustrated the castle in a spooky scene featuring some soldiers, a King & Queen, and some animals alongside three young explorers.

We want you to write something about Phil's illustration - it could be a ghost story, a poem, a comic strip, or maybe even a set of instructions to go alongside the treasure map with navigations around the castle! 🏰

Watch the video below for some inspiration, book recommendations, and top tips from Phil.

Entries for this challenge have now closed but don't let that stop you from writing a Conisbrough Castle tale.
