Reading mentor CPD

About this course
This interactive two-hour training course will provide reading mentors and volunteers with the knowledge and understanding of how to support students’ reading in secondary school.
How to book
The course is available for in-person private group bookings only. Due to the interactive and discussion-based nature of this CPD, along with the opportunity to create a reading session plan with support from the trainer, this training is ideally suited for smaller groups of up to twenty.

Who should attend
This CPD is suitable for anyone who has or will have a role in supporting reading either in paired, or small group sessions. This might include reading volunteers or mentors; university outreach officers; widening participation programme leaders; literacy leaders; librarians; SENCOs and teaching assistants.
