Who should attend
This highly- interactive workshop is delivered by Booker-nominated author, Wyl Menmuir. It is suitable for English teachers, who would like to develop their confidence and understanding of how to teach narrative and descriptive writing .Participants will need a pen and notebook and should be prepared for a hands-on, practical experience in which they will reflect on their own writing process, in order to develop students’ creative writing.

What you will gain from attending
In 90-minute session, you will learn about:
- What is involved in creative writing processes
- Strategies to develop practical approaches for the teaching of creative writing with students in Key Stages 3 and 4
- Ideas to embed creative writing processes into regular classroom practice
Preparing for the sessions
To participate fully in a session, you will need a working microphone and camera, notepaper and a pen. Please note, sessions are not recorded.
