‘Soundtrack your story’: a storytelling project with Alim Kamara
Supported by Amazon, we have created a fun, interactive storytelling project for National Storytelling Week with rapper and storyteller Alim Kamara, for pupils aged 7 to 11 (KS2/P4-7). Based on the theme ‘Soundtrack your story’, the project is designed to inspire a love of story creation through music and rhythm.
The week began with a free, live storytelling workshop with Alim on Tuesday 3 February 2026, now available as a recording to watch on-demand.
The workshop acts as an exciting springboard for the classroom activities, providing inspiration for pupils’ writing.
