We believe that primary school libraries should be a place of discovery, escape and imagination as well as a vital space where children can learn, explore reading for pleasure and improve their literacy.
With competing priorities and stretched resources, we also appreciate that it can be challenging to get the most out of any library provision you may have in your school. We have created a series of useful blogs especially tailored to support librarians, staff and volunteers who are working in a school library. Across the Library Lifeline blog series, which is written in association with the School Library Association, we answer as many library-related questions as possible.
Discover a range of topics to support, inspire and equip teachers, librarians and support staff in their bid to create welcoming and well-resourced libraries in their setting.
If you have a question of your own, email us worldofstories@literacytrust.org.uk and your question may be the focus of a future blog!
