On Sunday, Read On Nottingham and hundreds of it's volunteer Literacy Champions were invited to a Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey match against the Cardiff Devils at Motorpoint Arena.
Read On Nottingham's Charlotte and Lynne met with families before and after the match giving out more than 300 books along with flyers full of literacy tips and activities for families to take home.
Read On Nottingham was gifted 200 free tickets from the Panthers and the Renewal Trust for it's Literacy Champion volunteers and their families. It was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate and reward all of their amazing work over the past year.
The Hub was invited to attend the match to celebrate with local partner the Renewal Trust which has recently been awarded the Panther's Charity of the Month.
