World Book Day at the Library of Birmingham

Celebrate World Book Day with local author Kate Rafiq!

Join us for a special event with local author Kate Rafiq as we celebrate World Book Day and the transformative power of reading. This event is perfect for children aged 5-8 and their families and will take place in the Children's Library downstairs on the story steps.

This event is free, but we kindly ask that you reserve your spot in advance. Book your place

Event Highlights:

• Storytime with Kate Rafiq: Enjoy a reading from her beloved picture book, Birmingham Boy. Kate will be doing two story time sessions, 11:30 - 12:15 and 13:00 - 13:45.
• Interactive Storytelling: Kate will share additional stories and offer tips for making reading at home fun and engaging.
• Free Book Giveaway: Every child attending will receive a free book to take home.
