Gift aid declaration

Gift Aid is one of the easiest and most effective ways you can help fight inequality through literacy. As long as you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim 25p in tax for every £1 you donate. That means a donation of £5 will be worth £6.25 to us.

You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for the current tax year (Council Tax and VAT do not count).
