Festive Cinderella trails enjoyed in Haverhill and Stowmarket

29 Nov 2022

StowmarketCinderella

Get Suffolk Reading is celebrating pantomime in Haverhill and Stowmarket this winter with festive Cinderella-themed trails for the whole family to enjoy.

Supporting businesses in both towns will be displaying some beautiful princess slippers in their windows and as they follow the route participants can complete a literacy challenge based on the much-loved fairy tale.

Free trail maps are available to collect from Haverhill Library or Haverhill Arts Centre in Haverhill and Stowmarket Library or The Regal Theatre in Stowmarket throughout December.

Families can also download the Haverhill map here and the Stowmarket map here.

The trail can be completed at any time and over several days if necessary. All maps returned to the four pick-up locations before Saturday 31 December will be entered into a prize draw.

"Christmas is such a magical time of year and we can’t wait to see families in Stowmarket and Haverhill having a ball and engaging with our literacy events through the festive season. Hopefully our Cinderella fairy-trails will provide some excitement throughout December and people will be encouraged to chat, play and read together."

Sarah Olley, Project Manager for Get Suffolk Reading

Thank you to our community partners in Stowmarket and Haverhill for making these trails possible.
