At the beginning of September, one of our brilliant supporters Carl Gridley signed up to the Birmingham Tough Mudder with two friends who were raising money for their own chosen causes.
When we asked Carl why he decided to support the National Literacy Trust, he said
Reading is a critical skill in life. It’s vital that children learn to read well so they can be happy and successful in society. I also really reading myself, so supporting a charity that may help more folks read for entertainment makes me happy. I only wish I had a huge house with room for all the paper books I want!
Carl is a brilliant support and was able to raise a fab £250 by completing the Tough Mudder!
