This page contains all the additional resources you will need to run Early Words with Childminders. The resources complement the programme materials shared upon training.
Who are these resources for?
These resources are available to childminders once they have undertaken Early Words with Childminders training. The resources are only open to those who have taken part in strategic, funded delivery of Early Words with Childminders, led by the National Literacy Trust.
Please note that these resources will continue to be developed, adapted and added to, so it is important that you check them regularly.
Programme resources
Training
- Training presentation: The PowerPoint presentation used in the Early Words with Childminders training
- Early Words with Childminders Toolkit: Digital version of the toolkit childminders received at training.
Delivery tools
- Parent postcards: Parents should receive one postcard for each week of the six-week programme.
- Family certificate: Certificate for families who have taken part in the programme.
- Parent survey: Please ask parents to complete this survey after their child has participated in the programme.
- Media Release Form: Please ask parents to complete the National Literacy Trust media release form to grant permission for you to share any photos you have taken during programme delivery with us.
