About the course
Research has consistently suggested that reading for enjoyment is beneficial to wider learning, vocabulary development and wellbeing. How can we harness this research, help children develop a lifelong love of reading and ensure they are accessing books which are right for them?
At our Reading for Pleasure in KS2 CPD, conducted over the course of a day, you will engage with research to explore the transformative potential of reading for pleasure. You will engage with other schools and design an action plan tailored to your setting using strategies such as exploring whole texts and "book talk".
