Place-themed literacy CPD: Story Exchange

In this FREE online CPD session, we will discuss the Story Exchange -a speaking and listening workshop format created by the charity Narrative 4.

Story Exchanges support students to tell their own story on a theme - and then step into the shoes of a partner and tell their story - a powerful exercise in empathy.

We will be joined by Professor Ruth Gilligan: writer, academic and Narrative 4 UK ambassador. The session will focus on how making a space for sharing place-themed stories can connect people to the local area as well as improve their oracy skills.

This is the final session in our six-part CPD series on place-themed approaches to literacy.
