On Tuesday 1 June from 11:00 - 14:30 Swindon Stories in partnership with InSwindon is carrying out a Peppa Pig book giveaway session, for families and carers of children aged 0-5. This book giveaway forms part of the Hungry Little Minds campaign from the National Literacy Trust, funded by the Department of Education.
With the lockdown restrictions easing, the Swindon Stories team are delighted to be visiting Swindon’s town centre, to host this book giveaway session to the little ones who would like a free book!
Alongside a large batch of Peppa Pig books, the team will also giving away activity packs full of early years resources to help your little ones learning, and further information about Swindon’s library services.
This event forms part of the Hungry Little Minds campaign which provides families of children under five with simple and fun activities to help build their child’s speech and language skills at home. The campaign aims to reach as many families, carers and early years settings as possible, ensuring that every child across the county has access to free and fun chat, play and read resources.
You will find the team located by the Debenhams store in Swindon’s town centre.
