Helen Tozer

Helen Tozer - Storyteller

Statement

Helen is an energetic and personable professional storyteller. She develops bespoke interactive performances and workshops and is passionate about making literature accessible, fun and engaging for all.

Helen prefers a rowdy, active audience and is always looking for ways to immerse children in stories. Always happy to adapt to her surroundings, Helen has previously worked in classrooms, after school clubs, community gardens, public houses and libraries. Her clients have included Warner Brothers, Waterstones, Hampton Court Palace, The Woodland Centre Trust, Battersea Power Station and many more.

Helen's deep-rooted belief is that by giving young people the space, time and encouragement to create, we empower them.

She is particularly keen to work with children with additional needs. Helen loves discovering new tales and is always happy to be approached with commissions.

"She adjusted to different circumstances, and age groups beautifully, and was very sensitive to our needs from the very beginning. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, passionate, and patient storyteller." - Delphine Benezet, Churchfields Primary School
