Chris Francis

My storytelling is based on my personal and professional life beginning in post-War Birmingham with charismatic but down-to-earth grandparents and family.

Via grammar school and art college I forged a career in technical marketing and business communications which included visiting workplaces throughout the UK. This later involved travelling and working overseas in Eastern Europe and Africa as well as Europe. Then I moved into tutoring and examining post-graduate level students from all over the World.

Throughout my passion for art has remained eventually becoming full-time professional in 2011. Subjects have included nudes, seascapes, harbour scenes, cityscapes (urban scenes and landmarks). Techniques have included painting, pastels , printmaking and latterly assemblages (3D collages). Although the works have been shown throughout England, it isn't always successful but holds interesting tales.

My sense of humour covers mimicry especially of accents and cameos of the people I have met...

£100 per half-day plus expenses (including hotel away from home when required). Based in SE London
