Carol Florence Graham

I am a poet, storyteller and performer working with people of different ages and from all walks of life. I've been involved in creative education for over twenty-five years and during that time have developed a colourful repertoire of ways to explore the world of the imagination and encourage self-expression.

I enjoy working with children in schools, and with families in community settings and provide colourful 'Story Time' sessions and a range of interesting workshops. I deliver enrichment programmes for schools which are designed to develop literacy and communication skills, nurture creativity and promote self esteem. Theses are for all Key Stages and are available for SEN settings.

Workshops include:

• Storytelling and Storymaking
• Storytelling through Drama and Movement
• Poetry and Creative Writing
• Tai Chi Movements for Well-Being

These programmes range from a single visit to weekly sessions over half a term, and can take place in a classroom or a school hall. Workshops are also perfect for outdoor and forest school settings!

I lead writing workshops for adults and am currently working for the Ledbury Poetry Festival's Community Programme with adults with learning disabilities using poetry and poem-making to develop literacy skills.
