Amanda Kane-Smith

Based in Hampshire, Amanda specialises in interactive storytelling workshops. She combines music and movement with traditional storytelling to create an energetic and engaging storytelling experience. Her workshops are visually exciting and she uses a wide range of props (many of which are hand made) which the children are encouraged to use as part of the storytelling.

Amanda also offers Creative Storytelling workshops. Her 'Junk Storytelling' workshops are extremely popular as they combine two things children love- junk modelling and stories! They are a fantastic way of igniting a child's imagination within a story and an ingenious use of this cheap and plentiful resource. As a storyteller outside the school setting, Amanda provides storytelling workshops and appearances for theatres, festivals and events.
