Storybook Curriculum Example: This Morning I Met a Whale

Taking the wonderful Michael Morpurgo book, This Morning I Met a Whale as an example, we show how reading a story can act as a starting point to whole units of work.  Immersion and deep understanding can lead to response in a number of different ways. Here we see drama and writing as two possible responses as we move from reading into the writing.
