An example from Queensbridge School in Birmingham of how literacy can be integrated in the PSHE curriculum. “Generation Z” integrates wider reading of challenging texts into lessons and uses these texts as a jumping off point for discussion and work in the PSHE curriculum. The texts used are given along with an overview of how the programme has been implemented.
