Personalised print books and family literacy outcomes: A literature review

Added 21 Nov 2017

This literature review aims to provide a brief overview of new and existing research relating to the importance of shared reading in the early years, with a focus on personalised children’s picture books in print format.

The review looks at the potential impact of personalised elements on the cognitive and affective aspects of shared reading in the early years, including reading skills, motivation, confidence, learning engagement and aspiration.
