Parent-Child Communication is Important from Birth: A NCT/NLT research overview (2012)

In this review Dr. Cathy Hamer discusses early language development and external factors that impact on language development, such as the home learning environment and socio-economic status. This research review explores the importance of parent-child communication from birth and was part of the National Childbirth Trust's research overview series in 2012.

The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) developed the research overview series to provide an evidence base for parenthood workers.
