National Literacy Trust Network: Feedback and impact 2014-15

Added 16 Dec 2015 | Updated 09 Aug 17

Through National Literacy Trust membership (formerly the National Literacy Trust Network) we aim to help practitioners to improve literacy by creating a supportive environment in schools.

This report shows that the Network is highly valued by practitioners who participated in the study. All focus group participants reported finding the resources offered to Network members to be useful, comprehensive and high quality. The Network was also considered valuable for contributing to CPD by developing skills and knowledge, and for tools aimed at promoting a whole-school literacy approach.

This evaluation used a mixed-methods approach to measure outcomes, with a quantitative online survey (103 responses) and five qualitative focus group discussions involving 28 participants in total, conducted between September 2014 and March 2015.
