Learn how to develop the reading, writing and communication skills to support secondary students’ learning and exam preparation in English.

Who should attend

This two-part course explores how to teach the disciplinary literacy of English focusing on how to promote ways of developing talk, reading and writing in this subject. It has been specifically designed for non-specialists teaching English, early career English teachers seeking to refresh their understanding of disciplinary literacy in English, and teaching assistants supporting English.
