The National Literacy Trust and the Premier League are excited to invite you to meet authors Emma Juhasz (What Football Job Can You Do?) and Dan Freedman (50 ways into Football and Jamie Johnson) with TV host Kenzie Benali.

Join the Premier League Primary Stars and the National Literacy Trust on Wednesday 4th December 9.30am-10.15am for a free, exciting online workshop that connects football and literacy—perfect for pupils dreaming of a future in football!

Hosted by TV presenter Kenzie Benali, this engaging event will feature special guests Emma Juhasz, author of What Football Job Can You Do?, and Dan Freedman, author of 50 Ways into Football and the popular Jamie Johnson series. Together, they will dive into the fascinating world of football careers and the important role that literacy plays in pursuing those dreams.

Pupils will have the unique opportunity to ask Emma and Dan questions about the many exciting career paths in football—both on and off the pitch. From becoming a player or coach to roles behind the scenes like sports journalism, broadcasting, and management, this workshop will showcase how pupils can turn their love for football into a career.

But it’s not just about football! Emma and Dan will also share valuable writing tips, helping students explore how storytelling, creativity, and communication skills can enhance their success in finding their dream footy career.

Lace up your boots and sign your class up for this exciting workshop, where students can explore the world of football careers and unlock new opportunities through literacy!
