About the event
This live author event will celebrate the joy of reading with a festive focus on Sprouts by Sibéal Pounder! Join us to hear a special reading from the book, as we explore the book's themes and Sibéal's inspiration for writing. We will also have a live Q&A section for children to find out what it's like to be a published author.
This event is aimed at children aged 9-11 years (years 5 and 6).
We welcome event registrations from schools and those joining from home. If you are unable to join live, please register anyway as we will share the recording link with you in your confirmation email.
If you have any other questions, please contact connecting.stories@literacytrust.org.uk
About the book
Visit the future with Sibéal Pounder’s Sprouts! In the year 4024, Santa rules the world and it’s Christmas every day. Meet holographic elves, a witch banished to the Mince Pie Isles, and Santa’s daughter Merrilee Claus! With Christmas every day, the magic has been forgotten, and we’re going to need a lot of sprouts to bring it back.
About the author
