The Arctic challenge

The Arctic challenge is a unique opportunity to test your resilience and explore one of the most unspoilt environments on the planet. Deep in the wilderness of the Arctic Circle, take on the charity challenge of a lifetime and discover skills such as:

  • Dog sledding
  • Nordic skiing
  • Ice fishing
  • Orienteering
  • Fire lighting (this is harder than it sounds!)

You do not need to have any previous experience of the activities as full instruction will be given.

With temperatures reaching as low as -30 degrees centigrade and sunlight only lasting a few hours, you will be pushed to your limits. But with incredible home-cooked food and the chance of seeing the spectacular Northern Lights, this is an experience that you’ll never forget.

Throughout this adventure, your new skills will be tested against other teams in a series of mental and physical challenges - and the winning team will go home with the National Literacy Trust Arctic Cup!

Have you got what it takes?
