Salford

RS60_NLS_ALL_MORNING_SHOTS_364 (1)

In Salford, we work directly with communities, schools, and early years settings to spread a love of storytelling across the city and equip families with the literacy skills they need to succeed in life.

Higher literacy levels will improve a child's success at school, their job opportunities in adult life, their mental and physical health, and even their life expectancy.

If you would like to get involved, please email salford@literacytrust.org.uk

  • Parents are their child's first teachers. It's so important to support your child's reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, whether you're at home or out and about.

  • We support schools to improve their literacy levels, and encourage pupils to read and write in their own time.
