We are looking for 10 schools to participate in a pilot project we have developed with the University College London Institute of Education starting on 21 March. The project will explore how use of screens in the classroom (including tablets and e-readers) can support and promote reading for pleasure, with a particular focus on Key Stage 1. We ask participants to::

  • attend a one-day workshop at a London-based venue (tbc) on 21 March
  • take part in some online training (equivalent to one day's worth of time)
  • be available for a follow-up phonecall

All participating schools will receive one year's membership of the National Literacy Trust worth £100.

This pilot is only available to schools that do not have an existing full membership, though there may be other opportunities for member schools to be involved.

If you would like to take part, please complete and submit the below form ASAP. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis.

Please contact  or call 0207 587 3067 if you have any questions.
