Every penny you raise by taking part in the Where's Wally? fun run will help us to transform the lives of disadvantaged children through literacy.
There are lots of other ways to make the most of your fundraising. Have a look at our fundraising guide for more lots of hints, tips and ideas and let us know if you'd like us to send you materials to help with your fundraising!
How your fundraising changes lives
There's no minimum sponsorship amount, but we encourage you to set your own fundraising target and raise vital funds to change lives. Here's how your fundraising will help:
- £7 could give a child a book to keep, which will often be the first they have ever owned
- £15 could help fund a teenager to attend skills workshops that will help them get a job when they leave school
- £25 could give a family from a deprived community the skills and support they need to develop their children’s reading, breaking the cycle of disadvantage
- £150 could give 3 children who have fallen behind in their reading 20 hours of motivational literacy support each.
Any fundraising events that you organise, please let us know so that we can sing your praises! Tag us @literacy_trust in any photos on social media or send us an email.
