Katy Cawkwell

I have been performing traditional stories since 1996 and have extensive experience working with children of all ages. I have devised and performed work for the education departments of the Barbican, the Museum of London, the British Museum, the Royal Opera House, Whipsnade Zoo and The National Gallery.

I can tailor a programme to suit your needs, drawing on a wide repertoire of stories from different cultures, and my "Bag of Tales" works well with Early Years/KS1.

I have a degree in Classics from Oxford and am particularly strong in this area, with three specific offerings: "Tales of the Trojan Wars", "Perseus and Medusa", "Tales from a Roman Dinner Party" (KS2/KS3). Norse myth and Arthurian legend are other specialities.
