Every fortnight we’ll be uploading a new activity, inspired by a different Roald Dahl book, onto this page. Each challenge is linked to a room or space in the home to encourage children to think creatively about their surroundings.
Each activity includes links to free bonus resources, and book extracts, to provide extra splendiferous inspiration!
What you’ll need:
- Activity sheets below (which can either be printed out or viewed on a mobile phone or computer).
- Optional: coloured pencils
Don’t worry if you haven’t read the books!
Knowledge of the storyline is helpful when completing these challenges, but we’ve specifically designed them so that children can take part regardless of whether or not they have read the book.
