London Landmarks Half Marathon

London Landmarks route map

Unfortunately, circumstances have led to the London Landmarks Half Marathon being unable to take place on 29 March 2020, and the race organsiers are working with the local authorities to secure a new date.

Meanwhile, they have launched the Local Landmarks challenge, which is a solo, virtual run, around your local landmarks. Your local landmarks could be anything from your local church, castle, park, statue or even post-box. Take on the event strap-line and, 'The Grand, The Quirky, The Hidden', get creative and continue to show your support of the National Literacy Trust.

The challenge is open to everyone, whether you have a place in LLHM 2020 or not, and distances over 5k qualify for the challenge. You can complete your total distance over a number of runs and multiple days – you do not need to complete it in one go.

You can take part in the Local Landmarks Challenge until 3 May 2020, and we would really appreciate it if you would raise what you can to support our vital work.

If you would like to join #TeamLiteracy for this challenge, you can join our Strava community and start fundraising by setting up a page on JustGiving.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with our Fundraising Officer Emily.
