Leap for literacy tandem skydive

Leap for Literacy

Join us as we take a flying 'leap for literacy' at our first ever tandem skydiving event in Peterborough!

You will meet the National Literacy Trust team at Sibson Airfield on Saturday 6 June 2020 for a pre-jump briefing with our UK Skydiving tandem instructors.

Then you will take to skies, experiencing the thrill of free falling as you 'leap for literacy' from 13,000 feet, while securely attached to a highly experienced instructor.

This will be a life changing experience, and one which will also help to transform the life stories of disadvantaged children in the UK.

Every participant will receive:

  • National Literacy Trust t-shirt and fundraising pack
  • Meet and greet and refreshments on the day of the jump with the National Literacy Trust team
  • Event and fundraising certificate
  • Option to have your jump filmed/photographed

Register today!

  1. Book online and choose your preferred time to jump. The National Literacy Trust team will be on site all day to meet and greet you.
  2. Pay your £50 deposit. You'll get immediate email confirmation from UK Skydiving with full instructions for the day.
  3. Start fundraising! Set up your JustGiving page today, and we'll send you a welcome email with lots of fundraising tips. There are two minimum sponsorship options to choose from:
    • Raise £100 to support our work and pay for the cost of your jump yourself (£165) on the day
    • Raise £265 and we'll pay your jump costs from the sponsorship you raise.

If you have any questions please contact Laura Hyde on 020 7820 6254 or by email.

*6 June is our official 'Leap for Literacy' day, however if this date doesn't suit, you can jump at any time of year.
