From Vauxhall London Underground station
It should take around five minutes to walk from Vauxhall tube station.
Take Exit 3 following signs to South Lambeth Road. Once above ground, turn back at the top of the stairs and walk down South Lambeth Place, passing under the railway arch. At the large junction, cross to the island in the middle of South Lambeth Road, then cross to the right-hand side of the road to walk facing the oncoming traffic.
The National Literacy Trust is in the first row of buildings you see on the right, opposite Vauxhall Park.
From Vauxhall railway station
It should take around five minutes to walk from Vauxhall mainline station.
- If you are exiting the station by Platform 8 (exit open during peak times), turn right on to South Lambeth Road. At the large junction, cross to the island in the middle of South Lambeth Road, then cross to the right-hand side of the road to walk facing the oncoming traffic. The National Literacy Trust is in the first row of buildings you see on the right, opposite Vauxhall Park.
- If you are exiting the station by Platform 1, turn left out of the station and walk down South Lambeth Place, passing under the railway arch next to Sainsbury’s. At the large junction, cross to the island in the middle of South Lambeth Road, then cross to the right-hand side of the road to walk facing the oncoming traffic. The National Literacy Trust is in the first row of buildings you see on the right, opposite Vauxhall Park.
By bus
Many bus services operate through Vauxhall from Victoria, West End, Aldwych, Waterloo, Elephant & Castle, Camberwell, Brixton, Clapham Junction, Battersea and Wandsworth, including the number 2 and number 88, which stop opposite 68 South Lambeth Road.
